Just woke up and guess what it is 71 F outside, finally it is cold here, read in the forecast and it says would be same till the end of the weekend. Hurray!!!!! Enjoying every sip of the hot coffee sitting in the corner of the couch and writing here, OMG I cannot explain how I am cherishing this moment.
Past two weeks saw a lot of ads for thanksgiving and black Friday, especially yesterday night my brother in law Chaitanya went to best buy to snatch some deals on his favorite electronics and came home, told us that a lot of people had their tents in front of shops to grab the deals.
Not having born and brought up in America, I do not know the meaning of Thanksgiving and BlackFriday, hence I had a glimpse of what exactly are they. Found out that Thanksgiving day is to thank god for blessings of the last year.But the first Thanksgiving was celebrated to give thanks to God for helping the piligrims survive the brutal winter. And the Black Friday is Friday after Thanksgiving. Black Friday the term refers to the heavy traffic in Mall, Shops, on the Roads. But originally September 24, 1869 was deemed Black Friday, a day of stock market catastrophe.
